FAQs

Who can invest?

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) generally requires that investors be accredited, which requires meeting at least one of the following criteria:

1. The investor has an annual income of $200,000 ($300,000 if filing joint with spouse or spousal equivalent) for the last two years with a reasonable expectation that their income level will continue;

2. The investor has a net worth, not including primary residence, of $1,000,000 (either alone or together with a spouse or spousal equivalent);

3. The investor holds in good standing one or more of the following professional certifications: General Securities Representative license (Series 7), Private Securities Offerings Representative license (Series 82), or Investment Adviser Representative license (Series 65).

Other criteria may also be applicable in meeting the accredited investor requirements. For more information, please visit: Accredited Investors – Updated Investor Bulletin | Investor.gov

US investors self-certify that they meet the above criteria when joining Catapult Crown. This grants them full access to our site. However, making an investment requires additional documentation to verify accredited investor status which will be requested by Catapult Crown’s Administrator CARTA.

Why am I required to provide KYC?

To ensure Catapult Crown continues to operate in full compliance with our highly regulated environment, Catapult Crown constantly reviews its processes and implements appropriate procedures to meet these regulatory demands.

How does the investment process work?

Once you click on the Invest button, we will reserve the allocation that you have requested. Within 36 hours, you will receive an invitation from our third-party administrators CARTA to complete all the required paperwork electronically. CARTA will handle all administrative matters with you directly. Reserving an allocation to invest in an investment opportunity does not guarantee that you will be able to invest. No representation is being made that you will receive all or even a portion of your desired investment allocation and no assurances can be given that you will receive an investment allocation in an investment opportunity.
